DESCRIPTION:Our Madikwe Photographic Safaris is a hidden Gem. It offers some of the best Photographic opportunities to capture Africa’s Big 5. Explore the whole of 75 000 ha of Madikwe and capture amazing Wildlife Photo’s with the assistance of your photographic guide. We are running a NEW YEAR SPECIAL \n\nCost: R16\,150.00 per person sharing\nTour Type: Self-catering\nAccommodation: Sharing\nGroup size: 6 Guests – 6 out of 6 Available.\n\nThe Lodge accommodation consists of three on suite Chalets that sleeps 2 people. All the rooms have a view out over the watering hole and has an indoor and outdoor shower. Rooms are fitted with ceiling fans and air conditioners. Each room is fitted with two Twin beds with reading lights. Accommodation is on a sharing basis. \n \n \nThe Lodge is a self-catering establishment\, with a fully equipped kitchen\, lounge and dining room. All amenities are supplied from fridges to freezers\, microwaves and ovens including all crockery and cutlery. The lodge has a small boma with a braai including a Webber braai and a small plunge pool to cool down. The veranda looks out over the water hole in front of the camp and is the source of many interesting wildlife sightings. \nSituated in the Northwest Province Close to the border with Botswana is Madikwe. It was the largest relocation project for wildlife and was established in 1991. The reserve is Owned and managed by Northwest Parks and is currently 75 000ha in size. It is well known for its populations of Wild Dog and Lion. Currently there is more than 60 species of mammals in the park\, including all of the Big 5\, and more than 250 species of birds have been recorded to date in the reserve. \nThis is one of the lesser-known destinations but has proven itself as a real jewel for Photographers. \nIncluded: 4 Nights’ accommodation\, 8 Game drives\, Private vehicle and guide for our group. Photographic guide to assist with settings and techniques.
